Class is based on training exercises set up for success. These are outdoor classes, bring plenty of water.

For this class you will need yummy treats, something your dog doesn't get very much, but goes bonkers over, bring about 500 little tiny treats:)  PetAgreed would prefer all dogs on harnesses. Also, bring a clicker.  You can get these at most dog stores.

No Aggressive Dogs in Class (unless you are in the click to calm class)
 
 All classes are designed specifically for socialization with new people, new dogs, new environment and distraction learning.  Basic Obd. is taught through playing games and having fun!
 
 All puppies must have 3 sets of shots; age appropriate. (this is to prevent your puppy from catching Parvo, Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Bordatella, Corona-all highly contagious and possibly deadly).
 
 (Both Puppy Kindergarten and Basic Obedience will work on most commands and problem solving.)

DAY TRAINING

We come to your home 4 times a week and do all the training for you.  The 4th lesson is called a transfer lesson.  This is when PetAgreed teaches you what your dog already knows.
  •  This is great for working professionals and students or busy moms on the go.
Jagers dad was a full time student in a condo.  So i came over while he was studying or running errands.  (What a smart doggie:)

Bring with you:
  • Copy of your dog's vaccination records, for me to keep, including kennel cough (bordetella).
  • Your dog's crate and bed and playpen or babygates if needed.
  • Toys, chew toys like bones and nylabone, teething toys if your dog is a puppy.
  • Play toys, balls, rope, squeaky toys, etc...
  • Your dog's food and doggie treats, these need to be small and soft.
  • Leash, collar, harness, etc...
  • Medications
Remember, board and train is wonderful for busy people on the go, but when your dog comes home, you must keep up the training.  Training is a lifetime committment.

This is Nichole.  We did a few private lessons at her home.  Wonderful standard poodle.  Still a puppy.   The Doberman is Diesel, he took my basic obedience class and is focusing on his mommy around distractions.

great.  I walked around the room snapping pictures whiled they both stayed. 
 
These dogs are Cloey and Tucker.  We did 6 lessons of puppy k. and some basics.

 
 In-Your-Home Dog Training Offers:
  1. Puppy Kindergarten (8 weeks to 4 mos.) (Puppies can learn very young, you just can't put them at a health risk in a group class setting)
  2. Basic Obedience (3 mos. and up) (I usually include the Puppy Kindergarten with this 6 week course; no extra charge.)
  3. Custom Programs
  4. Problem Solving-one lesson at a time  (this includes aggressive dogs)
Train in familiar surroundings where your  dog will spend most of his life with his new human family in a human world.  Train first in his living environment with little or no distractions.
  • Add some mild distractions.
  • Add some distance.
  • I come to your home once a week for 1 hour and teach you how to train your dog.
  • It is YOUR (THE OWNER'S) responsibility to practice between weekly lessons if you want your dog to get trained. - EXCEPT IN THE DAY TRAINING PROGRAM.
  • Your dog will WANT to obey your every command.

This is Joey.  We were doing private training and started with no distractions.  He had a hard time with kids.  He is now at a park with kids running and playing everywhere.  Way to go Joey and his mommy Rachel.

1.  Puppy Kindergarten includes discussions on:
  • Housebreaking

  • Touch Conditioning (for the vet or groomers)

      I can come to your home one lesson at a time, maybe you only need to teach your dog a few manners, not jumping on people or maybe your dog needs help with separation anxiety.  Whatever you and your dog's needs are we can work them out one lesson at a time.
 
5.  Aggression, PetAgreed can help you help your dog.  Do you think your dog is aggressive? We can help in a gentel way.  Learn to show your dog not to be aggressive by changing the way he or she thinks with positive reinforcement.
